I am obsessed with these silly little japanese-style puffer fish and have seen them primarily on ceramics or prints over the years. I decided to design out my own on Stitch Fiddle and here is the final product!
It looks super silly and goofy and every time I see it I get a big smile on my face.
I think this is a wonderful beginner friendly crochet pattern that looks great in any setting. Learning crochet color work is a core skill for all crocheters and two-tone projects are great ways to hone in those skills. AND at the end of this one you get a goofy looking puffer fish to join your home or office.
