I was following this cute chicken tutorial and needed to write down / translate the instructions so I could follow easier:

To start, in a magic ring make 8 sc

  1. sc inc around (16)
  2. [sc, inc] x8 (24)
  3. [sc, inc, sc] x8 (32)
  4. sc around (32)
  5. 6 sc (primary), 1sc (accent), [4sc (p), 1sc (a)] x 4, 5 sc (p) (32)
  6. [4sc (p), 1sc (a)] x6, 2sc (p) (32)
  7. 6 sc (primary), 1sc (accent), [4sc (p), 1sc (a)] x 4, 5 sc (p) (32)
  8. [4sc (p), 1sc (a)] x6, 2sc (p) (32)
  9. 6 sc (primary), 1sc (accent), [4sc (p), 1sc (a)] x 4, 5 sc (p) (32)
  10. [4sc (p), 1sc (a)] x6, 2sc (p) (32)
  11. sc around (p) (32)
  12. Add eyes
  13. flatted & stuff & sc across the seam

Red accent:

For each, leave a tail to weave in

  1. ch 3 & slst into the 2nd ch from the hook x 3 (Top part) cut off
  2. ch 3 & slst into the 2nd ch from the hook x 1 (bottom part) cut off
